A charming spot for mountain lovers, starting with the road leading there, which winds through a larch forest, the oldest room inside (a 15th-century stube, though the newer room on the upper floor is also charming) and, of course, the cuisine. Some of the ingredients come from the animals on the neighbouring farm (it’s a farm holiday accommodation). Excellent mountain dishes are served, under the direction of Riccardo Gaspari of the SanBrite restaurant – which has one Michelin star – also in Cortina.
