Slightly removed from the tourist hustle and bustle, but still inside the ramparts, this simple, friendly eatery is housed in a two-storey building typical of Saint-Malo. It is run by an enthusiastic chef, who called on Rennes-based artist MioSHe to paint frescoes on the walls. His cooking is inspired by the market, the bread is home-made and the wines are natural. The weekday lunch set menu is a steal; more extensive lineup in the evening and at weekends.
