In the heart of Sorrento, the restaurant offers guests the chance to choose from a range of dining areas, each with its own distinct charm but all equally atmospheric. You can dine in the historic dining room, which was converted from a 16th-century cellar once used by the monks as a storeroom, or in the more contemporary areas, which feature a spectacular open-plan wine cellar housing over 1,600 bottles. In the warmer months, the outdoor tables set out along the picturesque entrance staircase add further charm to the experience. The cuisine draws primarily on the traditions of Campania, alternating between seafood and meat dishes, while also incorporating personal interpretations and creative touches that enrich the menu. The dining experience can be tailored either through tasting menus or by choosing freely from an extensive and varied à la carte menu. Among the most impressive dishes were the tacos with ‘minestra maritata’ and tomato ice cream – a successful example of cuisine that blends tradition with modernity.
