Working in close collaboration with the adjacent fishmonger’s, from which fresh fish and seafood are delivered daily straight to the kitchen, this restaurant has found a home in a charming building that once served as an orange store and boasts over four centuries of history. Although there is a menu, the best way to enjoy the experience is to let the staff guide you through the day’s fresh arrivals, perhaps while taking a look at the fish counter as well. The cuisine favours dishes that bring out the best in the ingredients, with recipes inspired by tradition but not without a touch of creativity. One example is the squid stuffed with aubergine parmigiana, served with a fried aubergine cube, datterino tomato tartare and basil oil.
