As a result of this place being both a wine bar and a restaurant, it has a remarkable wine list and around 120 wines by the glass to accompany the ambitious modern cuisine. From a lovely selection of dishes, diners choose four to nine courses to make up their meal. Relaxed, attentive and knowledgeable service is provided. On balmy summer evenings, tables on the terrace are highly sought-after. The name is a nod to Heunisch, a foundational progenitor grape (the parent of most grape varieties known and drunk today), and Erben, the "heirs", its descendants, which you'll find here on the wine list and the shelves.
