In Konstantin Filippou's extensive tasting menu, served in the evening, the spotlight is firmly on fish and seafood, with meat largely absent or relegated to a supporting role. Expect dishes such as "sardine, mussel remoulade, beer radish" and "red prawn, à la crème, bouillon noisette, grapefruit, cochayuyo". His modern seven- to nine-course set menu is characterised by contrasts, and showcases top-quality ingredients sourced from international markets. A native Styrian with Greek roots, the chef-patron discreetly incorporates influences from both cultures into his cooking. At lunchtime, the set menu is slightly more concise, with a signature dish and a chef's recommendation available as optional extras. The minimalist interior is done out in a palette dominated by black and grey. Service is consistently attentive and competent, with well-judged wine recommendations included – or you can choose for yourself from the international wine list. Alongside wine and alcohol-free beverages, Champagne pairings are also available to complement the set menu.
