This revamped farmhouse is the place to come for a lively dining experience in a vibrant and trendy setting. Upbeat music plays in the background, large chandeliers hang from the ceiling, modern art adorns the walls… This restaurant is brimming with atmosphere, yet also has a romantic side thanks to the subdued lighting and dark colour scheme. Working in an attractive open kitchen, André Gerrits's vibrant creativity befits the setting. His cuisine has verve and knows no boundaries. In his diverse creations, he gives pride of place to vegetables from his own garden, along with other gems of Dutch produce. From the amuse-bouche onwards, the chef reveals his love of global influences, while showing equal mastery of the classics. Take, for instance, perfectly medium-rare chateaubriand wrapped in spinach leaf and puff pastry, placed on a creamy mushroom purée and paired with carrot seasoned with fermented garlic cream, a wonderful chilli sauce and grated summer truffle.
