Set within the renovated Grand Hôtel Nord-Pinus, a landmark in the heart of Arles, this restaurant is part of the city's legendary artistic heritage. Surrounded by tall mirrors and weathered wood panelling, in a hushed atmosphere blending heritage with contemporary elegance, chef Antonio Altamura serves up his precise, understated Italian cuisine: hake crudo, saffron and black lemon risotto, orange blossom millefeuille, strawberries and honeycomb. Well-chosen and expertly prepared ingredients feature on the concise menu. On fine days, the terrace giving onto the square makes this one of the liveliest spots in Arles.
