The spectacular lakeside location at Wolfgangsee is one of the main draws of this place. Combined with the stunning views of the lake and mountains, the classically elegant decor and live piano music in the background make for a truly romantic atmosphere. Incorporating local produce and drawing on classic and modern influences, the food is equally impressive. Diners have a choice of three set menus: "Poll's Menü", "Rössl Menü" and "Fondue Erlebnis" (must be pre-ordered). The outstanding wine list showcases Austrian labels. Friendly service. Overnight accommodation is available at Romantik Hotel Im Weissen Rössl, which also houses this restaurant. Steeped in tradition, this establishment owes much of its fame to the celebrated Peter Alexander film of the 1960s, Im weissen Rössl (The White Horse Inn).
