Yes, this is indeed an old Greek house from the 19C, and what a beauty it is! The striking façade with its distinctive traditional balcony, the arcaded courtyard adorned with old frescoes and the open dining area under a canopy of vine leaves make you feel as though you've wandered onto a 1970s film set. Brimming with charm, this is also a true family-run establishment – several members of the Özturk family were even born within these walls. In the kitchen, the matriarch prepares dishes that blend Turkish tradition with Greek influences. A crisp seasonal salad with just enough vinegar and the gentle sweetness of tomato, succulent sac tava, rich baklava with candied nuts… Every bite is a joy.
