Discreetly housed in an old building that almost blends unnoticed into the neighbourhood, this restaurant affords privileged views from its terrace, including the Church of São Gualter — an iconic symbol of the city. In charge of the kitchen is chef Hugo Alves who, after gaining experience in renowned restaurants across Portugal, decided to return to his home city and treat diners to a creative offering that fuses distinctive Portuguese flavours with contemporary techniques. The offering comprises a tasting menu entitled Entre Sol e Sal (also available in a vegetarian version), renewed each season, a lunch menu (served Tuesday to Friday) and à la carte options. An appealing selection of Portuguese wines completes the experience, with carefully curated pairings!
