With Katia and Tatiana Levha, two Filipino-born sisters at the helm, this place has blossomed into one of the hottest bistros of Paris (booking essential). The interior puts its best foot forward, showing off its period frescoes. Tatiana put her English studies on hold in order to indulge her twin passions of eating and cooking! Trained in the establishments of Alain Passard and Pascal Barbot, she cheerfully crafts vibrant French cuisine, with a smattering of Asian influences. Particular care goes into the sauces and jus, such as the prik pao sauce with a tartlet of green peas or a saté-spiked jus that flanks line-caught bluefin tuna. Just the right amount of chili pepper often adds a kick to a number of recipes.
