The bistro offshoot of Mère Germaine lies at the end of a cul-de-sac. Solid oak wood dominates the contemporary interior, alongside an imposing counter-cum-kitchen and a gleaming spit-roast oven. The terrace commands a sweeping view over the vineyards. The chef, born in Ecuador, rustles up a traditional bistro lineup strewn with South American accents, illustrated by a tiradito of tuna (finely sliced raw fish, coated in a sauce just before serving). The menu also features roast meats, seasonal recipes, family favourites and wickedly indulgent desserts.
