In her small restaurant that sports a smart, uncluttered interior, young Moldavian-born chef, Oxana Cretu, gives free rein to her inventive flair in a several course surprise menu. This perfectionist unveils her restrained creative streak right from the appetisers, conjuring up colourful dishes infused in aromatic flowers (mimosa, elderflower, orchid): langoustine, kumquat, lavender and saffron; Landes duckling, sakura and sweet chestnuts. A bergamot meringue, mandarin sorbet, orange blossom mousse and kalamansi coulis extravaganza ends the meal on a refreshing note.
