With its tasty seasonal cuisine and cosy, laid-back atmosphere, Freya is a welcoming alternative to the fine dining Mod by Sven Nöthel – both of which are located in the verdant setting of this historic farmstead. Inside, the decor combines traditional architectural features with a modern style; outside, there is a pleasant terrace. The thoughtfully curated à la carte selection ranges from Finkenwerder-style plaice and Züricher Geschnetzeltes (creamy veal ragout) to "Freya's Classic Burger with fries". Vegetarian options are also available, along with a fine selection of wines and refreshing drinks. An ideal spot for a relaxed meal with friends or the whole family. It is a popular wedding venue, too.
