This outstanding restaurant lies behind the handsome façade of an impressive edifice in the Zurenborg district. This 1913 Art deco building is an oasis of velvet cocooned decadence and the eye is drawn to its soft curves and impressive marble staircase. Chef Frédéric Chabbert channels this elegance into big-boned French cuisine that also highlights his time in Asia. A few examples: an exquisite kombu‑laced butter sauce that flanks translucent scallops and pigeon marinated in shoyu koji and flawlessly grilled over a wood fire. You can expect a confluence of generous helpings and a refined repertory offset by umami‑rich nuances, all of which with French overtones and a bold personality. Do choose a side dish with your main and we also recommend finishing with the wickedly addictive chocolate cake. Note: single set menu at the chef’s table.
