The two impressive wine lists offer something for every budget – one lower-key selection and one featuring iconic wineries. The suggested pairings on the menu are by no means redundant either, because you're really spoilt for choice here! This lively neighbourhood bistro has all the cosy charm of a traditional Amsterdam café, although upstairs provides a calmer retreat. Here you can relax and enjoy exuberant French flavours, reimagined with a distinctly modern touch. The vegetarian interpretation of filet americain has already become a classic of chef Tomas Bron's. He creates this appetiser with house-made focaccia and deeply spiced and intensely flavoured tomato for an amazing trompe l'œil effect! Time and again, it is his sauces that leave diners in awe. Beautifully translucent monkfish and succulent razor clams are accompanied by a beurre blanc-inspired sauce, enriched with ginger and the juices of the razor clams. Simply divine! There is nothing superfluous here, just ingredients of exceptional quality that make for a heady balance. Rest assured you'll have a great time at Zoldering.
