Within the Hotel Esplanade, a historic luxury establishment in the capital that was inaugurated in 1925, Zinfandel’s has been guided since 2012 by chef Ana Grgić, whose kitchen delivers a personal and creative reinterpretation of the Mediterranean and continental tradition, celebrating local and seasonal ingredients. The elegant dining room recalls the hotel’s art deco style, with carefully considered furnishings and a sophisticated atmosphere. Among the most interesting dishes, the “Frozen foie gras powder, celery cooked in Port, dense Port and tonka cream with cocoa crumble” merits special attention. The cellar is equally impressive, with over 200 labels and a generous selection available by the glass.
