This long-standing member of London's Indian dining scene is located in a Grade II-listed former banking hall, with all the ornate splendour that would imply – imagine high ceilings, elegant wood panelling and neo-Gothic sculpted detailing. The cooking offers an overview of different Indian regions, with a slight leaning towards northern cuisine, in dishes that use well-judged spicing to enhance the flavours of the central ingredients.
