This is the second Williams ButchersTable in Zurich, complementing their restaurant on Hegibachplatz. Located on Hechtplatz in the old town, this establishment also has a butcher's shop and restaurant under one roof. Top-quality steaks are the order of the day here. A cosy brasserie atmosphere reigns throughout, with tables on both the ground floor and upstairs, as well as on the small terrace out front. Diners hand-pick their preferred cuts from the meat counter at the entrance – Swiss LUMA beef rib eye, US bison fillet steak or Wagyu beef tenderloin from Japan or Australia? Or perhaps an Appenzeller Ribelmais chicken is more to your liking? The selection is varied; the quality of the meat is exceptional. The "specials" and "dailies" are also popular at lunchtime. Tip: At the butcher's counter you can purchase meat to cook at home. If you're coming by car, Parkhaus Hohe Promenade is within easy walking distance.
