This small fine dining restaurant is in the MONDI Hotel, which boasts a picturesque hillside location overlooking the lake Gundlsee – with such a fantastic backdrop, the terrace is a real highlight! But eating inside is just as appealing, on account of the upscale modern ambience bursting with regional charm. The à la carte menu is not too extensive but constitutes a judicious selection, from which you can also create a three- to five-course set menu. The emphasis is on seasonal ingredients from the surrounding area, such as Ausseerland trout, Salzkammergut catfish and Gundlsee lamb. Vegetarian options are available, too. There are wine and alcohol-free drinks pairings to go with the food. Tip: Overnight guests can also unwind courtesy of the wellness amenities including a pool and sauna.
