Nestled among the hills of Felino, amid the lush greenery of the Parma countryside, this trattoria in Barbiano has long been a point of reference for those in search of authenticity and the flavours of another age. The cooking of the Leoni family celebrates local tradition, drawing upon recipes handed down from grandmother Erminia and interpreted with care and deep respect. Among the most iconic dishes stands the delicious rabbit alla cacciatora: already boned, enveloped in a tomato sauce fragrant with aromatic herbs, it represents at its finest the substance and richness of Parma cuisine. Not to be missed either is a taste of the Felino salame, aged at length in the family cellar, which speaks with honesty and conviction of the soul of the territory.
