Chef Della Schiava’s exquisitely plated cuisine is first a treat for the eye, before it pampers the tastebuds, thanks to a consummately curated score packed in gourmet flavours! The focus is firmly on seasonal produce, crafted into Mediterranean dishes with an equal emphasis on meat and fish. In addition to an à la carte lineup, three tasting menus (Anima, Mente and Cuore) set the tone of the venue’s identity. Anima displays strong ties with its region and a distinctive Italian twang, illustrated by Fassona steak grilled and paired with celery and a fresh, crunchy Waldorf salad. Contemporary Asian accents, interpreted savvily and sensitively, set the scene for the Mente lineup. The experience is even better when seated on the idyllic terrace that commands knockout views of Lugano and the lake. The hotel also boasts 18 swish, stylishly appointed suites.
