The gregarious and welcoming Bruce Rennie is something of a one-man band here at this intimate restaurant with room for just 10 diners. He works alone in the kitchen and presents dishes to all his guests at the same time, in a warm, engaging manner. The set menu is all about showing off the finest Cornish seafood, sourced from nearby Newlyn Harbour, whether that be monkfish aged in-house or glistening hake simply served with scallop and roe. The accompaniments include some ingredients from Rennie's own smallholding.
