Down a cobbled street in a beautiful Georgian town, you'll find a Grade II-listed building housing this amiably restaurant. The cooking blends the French and British roots of owners Andrew and Marjolaine Du Bourg; the former's attractively presented dishes include the likes of 'pig paté' with fresh, piquant pickled vegetables and classic rabbit 'à la moutarde' given a subtle twist with lemongrass and coriander. Whatever the dish, it shines thanks to the excellent ingredients used. The exuberant Marjolaine runs the charming, attentive service.
