Perched on the first hills overlooking Lake Maggiore, this venue – with its welcoming and relaxed atmosphere – has now been completely refurbished, thanks to a recent renovation project that has combined comfort, elegance and a focus on energy efficiency. In the kitchen, the young chef offers his own take on contemporary Italian cuisine, featuring meticulously prepared dishes that are vibrant in colour and well-balanced in flavour. Meat and fish feature equally prominently on a menu that focuses primarily on Piedmont and its produce, while still incorporating creative and seasonal touches. The daily specials, expertly recommended by the waiting staff, help to ensure that each visit is different from the last. At lunchtime, the menu is expanded to include a more informal, bistro-style offering, though still offering just an à la carte selection.
