Dating back over 300 years, this traditional Graubünden house abounds with charm. The cosy, rustic restaurant, with its sloping walls, old soapstone stove and beautiful wood-panelled ceiling, has the feel of a place steeped in history. The hearty food is firmly rooted in the region, with classics such as Capuns (Swiss chard rolls) and Maluns (fried potato crumbles), as well as saffron soup, beef tartare, and sliced veal with creamy mushroom sauce – simply delicious! Prices are very fair, and service is pleasingly friendly and informal. It's wise to book, as the restaurant is very popular, especially with regulars from the region. Tip: Take a slice of walnut tart home with you.
