This attractive alternative to the fine dining restaurant also impresses with sophisticated cuisine made with excellent ingredients. The classic menu incorporates regional influences alongside international flavours. This results in a diverse range of dishes, such as pan-fried veal black pudding on hispi cabbage with fried onions and bacon, or tuna carpaccio with a soy and sesame vinaigrette and tuna tartare on a sushi rice base, as well as fine cuts of local rabbit on spring vegetables with gnocchi, or Zwiebelrostbraten (sirloin steak with crispy fried onions and gravy), Brussels sprouts and Schupfnudeln (finger-shaped potato dumplings). The well-stocked wine list is the same as in the fine dining restaurant. Dine in the cosy interior, or head out to the delightful leafy terrace. For overnight stays, there are double rooms available in the main building, as well as a comfortable guesthouse.
