It's the kind of place we'd all like to have on our doorstep, with great prices, eager-to-please service and a mightily appealing menu. The small plates let the ingredients shine and equal prominence is given to vegetable dishes such as grilled marinated courgette with ajo blanco. While you decide what to order, ask for the smooth cheese puffs with Old Winchester and brown sauce.
