The fruit of a sweeping renovation by the celebrated architect Jean Nouvel, the building houses apartments and art galleries, while on the fifth floor the gastronomic soul comes to life: a single communal table, divided between an elegant interior dining room and a striking panoramic terrace offering uninterrupted views across the Palatine Hill. The cooking looks to the Mediterranean with particular attention to handmade pastas, the true hallmark of the offering. Among the iconic dishes, the tortelli with pork ribs, spring onion and cacao mass stand out with quiet authority. The same terrace is also home to a cocktail bar of enviable situation, ideally placed for raising a glass while contemplating the Roman sunset.
