Massalia is the Greek name for Marseille, and the culinary strengths of both Greece and France come together here in an approachable style. One example is a take on giouvarlakia: balls of hand-cut beef with carrot and dill, served with a lemon sauce, dill oil and delicate rice crackers. The côte de boeuf is lifted by fresh Mediterranean seasoning. The wine list also features plenty of appealing choices from the two countries. Those sun-kissed flavours are matched by a spacious terrace, a vibrant atmosphere and a contemporary interior with a slightly vintage feel, where relaxed dining comes with excellent value for money.
