In the splendid countryside of Cerreto Guidi, Villa Petriolo is a magnificent Medici residence offering luxurious rooms in a setting of great allure. Besides the beauty of the villa and its garden, onto which the restaurant’s outdoor terrace looks, the property benefits from an abundance of its own production: extra-virgin olive oil, wine, Cinta Senese pig farming, meats, poultry, a kitchen garden and ancient grain varieties. The kitchen reinterprets this exceptionally rich range of produce in a modern key, offering two tasting menus – one of them vegetarian – from which it is also possible to order à la carte. Alternatively, the Osteria di Golpaja offers genuine and intense flavours of the kind that have made Tuscany a celebrated destination for lovers of fine dining.
