A restaurant with over a century of history, the longest-running one on the Opatija coast, splendidly positioned overlooking the small harbour of Volosko, a charming village on the road to Rijeka. For over thirty years, the restaurant has been in the hands of Daniela Kramarić, a prize-winning sommelier who welcomes guests with great warmth and, through her considerable expertise, guides them through both the menu and the wine list, including a presentation of the day’s freshest catch displayed at the entrance. In winter, dinner is served in a light-filled veranda virtually on the water, while in summer the spaces open onto the external terrace overlooking the sea. The Adriatic is the undisputed protagonist of a cuisine of real substance, classical in its foundations, yet open to the occasional elegant creative flourish.
