An interesting modern dining concept. Guests arrive at 7pm, with service starting at 7.15pm. There is a single seven-course set menu (plus a starter and finale), with an international outlook, numerous Asian influences and clear, intense flavours. The excellent desserts also deserve a mention, such as a black garlic and dark chocolate mousse with roasted pecan, ice cream made from grilled banana and a fruity bergamot sauce with pandan oil – a beautifully balanced combination full of nuanced flavours and pleasing contrasts. Diners are seated at an 18-seat counter facing the open kitchen, giving them a clear view of the chefs at work. This is teamwork at its finest, with palpable enthusiasm from everyone involved, which creates a sociable, entertaining atmosphere that aligns with the trendy urban aesthetic. As well as fine wines, the expertly crafted alcohol-free beverage pairings are highly recommended! Zeitwerk, another restaurant by Robin Pietsch, is right next door.
