Where the old Ochsen inn once stood, the new OX'n now catches the eye with its striking modern design – all the glass gives the place an airy feel and a pleasing sense of openness. The overall atmosphere is trendy yet inviting. In good weather, the terrace beckons. Friendly service. The kitchen serves contemporary Swiss cuisine in the form of a surprise menu on Wed-Sat evenings, with additional à la carte options Wed-Thu. At lunchtime (Wed-Fri), you can opt for a reasonably priced, simplified version of the surprise menu, comprising three or four courses or à la carte dishes. Tip: If you fancy an after-work beer or a cocktail, pop into the bar for a quick drink, or feel free to stay a while longer.
