ORA is the kind of place where time seems to stand still. With its Southern European chic and its warm, convivial feel, this trendy restaurant invites friends and family to share dishes evocative of sunnier climes. Full-flavoured wines from around the Mediterranean accompany a feast in which Greek flavours take centre stage. The chefs have a flair for fresh twists – their ceviche, for example, strikes just the right balance between acidity and spice. But you could simply come for the tzatziki with smoked yoghurt and pita straight from the oven, or beautifully tender beef cheek with creamy orzo. This is vibrant, aromatic and rich cooking that instantly transports diners to a summer holiday by the water. A word of warning, though: choosing from the extensive menu is no easy task.
