This is an exceptionally special restaurant, bringing together all the ingredients for an experience that will linger long in the memory. The entrance, flanked by Murano glass, commands attention with its theatrical effect, leading into a dining room decorated in an elegant combination of gold, white and blue tones. The space astonishes with its impressive panoramic windows, offering breathtaking views over the coast and the seemingly endless Atlantic. After years spent travelling the world in search of the culinary traces left by the Portuguese across different continents, Austrian chef Hans Neuner bases his offering on the Essência (the name given to the menu) of Portuguese cuisine, drawing inspiration from dishes that embody local cooking and tradition and reinterpreting them from a more contemporary perspective. The menu features dishes such as the famous Francesinha, made with scarlet prawn, black truffles and chouriço, and piri-piri quail with warm tomato salad. The wine list is truly exceptional!
