The lively atmosphere here is reminiscent of a modern gastropub. Thanks to its really friendly, down-to-earth service and relaxed setting, this place is ideal for lunch with friends or an enjoyable dinner. Under the guidance of Fabian Fuchs, vegetarian dishes – sometimes even vegan – are prepared in the open kitchen. The dining experience is centred on sharing – three to four dishes from the seasonal menu per person is about right. The flavoursome dishes are made with carefully selected vegetables, such as aubergine with miso, wasabi sesame and cashew, or Pizokel (buckwheat dumplings), Périgord truffle, savoy cabbage and Belper Knolle cheese. If you can't make up your mind, opt for the "Tavolata" surprise menu in the evening. You can pair your meal with organic wines or alcohol-free options such as kombucha. At lunchtime, alongside an à la carte selection, there is the appealing two-course "business lunch" deal. In summer, head for the outdoor tables on the pretty little square.
