Turn into this slightly hidden alleyway just off the elegant Bağdat Avenue and immerse yourself in the warmth and friendly atmosphere of Nazende Cadde. It has a pleasingly contemporary feel to it and makes for an ideal setting in which to share all manner of delicious dishes with friends. The enticing menu changes every day according to what is available at the market, and is somewhat simpler at lunchtime. Uluç Sakarya and his team like to work with offal – they know, for example, that lamb's brains are a superb match for parsley, tomato, olive oil and lemon. They showcase the generous spirit of traditional cooking – the pistachio baklava is a standout – while giving it their own twist. This vibrant restaurant is a real gem!
