Located inside the boutique hotel of the same name, in a family-owned building steeped in history that features eight exclusive rooms, this restaurant stands out both for its main dining room, which features a large open grill, and for the space known as the ‘Mirador’—an area encased in glass offering a beautiful panoramic view of the Santesteban Valley. Managed on a day-to-day basis by Govinda Pérez de Ciriza, the menu is created by award-winning chef David Yárnoz, who focuses on traditional flavours with the occasional French touch, using grilled dishes as a common thread (we loved the cured trout with Gaztazarra pesto from Remiro). Here, some main courses are designed for two diners!
