This restaurant with a delightful garden and terrace enjoys a fabulous countryside location. Traditional and modern elements are combined to winning effect. Run by the Meier family, the attractive HILZHOF is home to chic guestrooms and the small fine dining restaurant HIO, as well as MEIER. Their flavoursome cuisine places the quality and provenance of the ingredients centre stage – it follows the seasons and uses organic ingredients sourced locally, if not from the family's own vegetable plot and herb garden. Local producers are credited on the menu. The staff are exceptionally charming.
