L'avis du Guide Michelin

Mala Hiža – literally the “Little House” – has a fascinating story: the oak building dating from 1887, originally situated near Zagreb, was carefully dismantled and painstakingly rebuilt in 1997 within an old abandoned orchard. Today it is a warm and romantic family-run restaurant, where the chef-patron celebrates the cuisine of the region through a seasonal approach and a sound selection of local wines. Among the dishes: filled pastas, meats such as beef and lamb, and, to conclude, gibanica, the traditional layered cake with cheese, eggs and pumpkin.
