In business since 1971, the restaurant and hotel of the same name remain one of the most trusted establishments on the Abruzzo coast to this day. Here, the sea takes centre stage, without compromise: the cuisine is dedicated to seafood, and the wine list – in harmony with the menu – clearly favours white wines. Great care is taken in selecting the raw ingredients, which come largely from the Adriatic Sea and are served in dishes that combine respect for tradition with a contemporary sensitivity. Examples include the impressive local scampi, cooked and served in a pan with oil, wine, garlic and rosemary, alongside more original dishes such as crispy red mullet served with the famous Abruzzese ventricina. For lovers of the freshest seafood, the tasting menu – dedicated to raw seafood, comprising six courses and designed to showcase the full quality of the produce – is well worth a mention.
