Originally from around Lyon, Véronique and Gilles are at the helm of this characterful house at the foot of the castle. The quaintly quirky interior, depicted by red Skai banquettes, bistro furniture, mirrors and old wooden floorboards, sets the scene for regularly changing delicacies from Lyon and Vendée at sensible prices. The buzzy vibe is suitably casual and reminiscent of a “bouchon lyonnais” that has been uprooted to the island of Noirmoutier, much to our delight!
