Not only does Lake Der lend itself to water sports, cycle rides and birdwatching, it is also a destination for foodies, thanks to a young, dynamic team that has given this hotel-restaurant a new lease of life. The chef devises well-crafted set menus that follow the seasons: sea bream in a herb crust with horseradish sauce, red mullet bouillabaisse-style, veal sweetbreads with cauliflower and black sesame. And since we are in Champagne, wines from the region feature prominently on the interesting wine list. A warm welcome.
