Having already proved his talent at Kuno 1408 in Würzburg, chef-patron Daniel Schröder now runs this restaurant with an interesting dual concept. This inviting alternative to the fine dining offering at La Boucherie serves excellent seasonal cuisine. Diners can choose between a three-course set menu and à la carte options. The cooking impresses both technically and in terms of flavour, as in the meltingly tender braised pork cheeks with an intense braising jus and potato dumplings filled with croûtons, or his original take on peach Melba. The courtyard terrace is particularly pleasant in summer. There are also well-appointed, contemporary guestrooms.
