The name gives you a hint of what’s in store, but not everything – and certainly not the biggest surprise: after crossing a pine forest and leaving your car in the car park, you reach the restaurant and its stunning view – we’re practically on the beach! Opened in 1969 by the same family who still run it today – now in the next generation – the sea almost seems to spill into the dining room, where time seems to have stood still. The atmosphere is simple and retro, evoking memories of family holidays, happy times and days at the beach. The cuisine is in keeping with this setting: naturally seafood-based, the dishes are prepared according to traditional recipes, with the quality of the catch taking centre stage.
