This handsome Alsace establishment near Haguenau is a remarkable modern construction built out of old materials so as to seamlessly blend in with its rural setting overlooking the hills and orchards. It is the haunt of Christelle and Cédric Decker, who have patiently developed their property (adding a kitchen garden, orchard, chicken coop, etc.). Using premium ingredients from Alsace and elsewhere, the chef concocts his own intriguing take on classical, yet never boring recipes, enhanced by subtle and skilfully crafted house-made jus and sauces.
