Bib Gourmand · Piedmontese · ~55 € / pers. · Turin, Italie
In the heart of the Quadrilatero Romano, just a stone’s throw from the bustling Porta Palazzo market, this small, family-run restaurant embodies the very essence of Piedmontese culinary tradition. The simple, welcoming atmosphere provides the ideal setting for cuisine that is rich in flavour and generous in portion size, deeply rooted in the local area and traditional recipes. The menu, often enhanced by the day’s specials announced verbally, invites you on a journey through the great regional classics: from traditional starters to fresh stuffed pasta, right through to the slow-cooked dishes that are a hallmark of Savoyard cuisine. To round off the meal, there are some unmissable desserts such as bonet and hazelnut cake, served with zabajone. There are just a few tables and they’re in high demand: booking in advance is strongly recommended.
