This charming restaurant is housed in a spruce half-timbered building in the heart of Röthenbach an der Pegnitz, just outside Nuremberg, and proposes casual fine dining in a historic setting. Modern interior design incorporating a rustic beamed ceiling creates a cosy atmosphere. It is a place run with genuine passion and dedication. At the helm are Gerald and Melanie Hoffmann – he a well-known name in the region's culinary scene and she leads the service with exceptional warmth. There is a set menu prepared using regional and seasonal ingredients, with dedicated wine pairings available. In addition to the set menu, you can choose from a small selection of daily specials. In summer, head for the terrace in the front garden. There is also a small hotel in the building.
